General Impression

If you get a chance to see more of Frankfurt than just the airport this is a great place to stay.

Entering the hotel you will be welcomed not just by a huge, bright atrium and an inviting open plan space but also very friendly and professional staff.

Rooms are fairly modern and good sized with large bathrooms and comfortable beds. The rooms on the back side of the hotel are facing a green and quiet park (Liesel-Chris-Anlage).

The breakfast buffet is elaborate and delicious. It is served in the restaurant part of the large ground floor area. Weather permitting outside seating at the edge of the park is also available. Service here was just a friendly and professional as at the front desk upon our arrival.

To make up for the joy of breakfast the hotel also offers a large fitness center featuring an olympic sized swimming pool.

Location

Very good! The hotel has an ideal location. Right in the heart of Frankfurt but yet quiet and relaxed surrounded by one of the city's parks (Liesel-Christ Anlage). The main shopping area (Zeil) and one of the main hubs for public transport (Hauptwache) are within walking distance (less than 5 minutes). Just around the corner you can find Frankfurt's old monumental opera house "Alte Oper" and the Eschenheim Tower.
